Our artists use canvas that is made from high quality, 100% cotton fabric. Cotton canvas is the preferred choice for our artists, because it is a very durable fabric for oil painting. The 100% cotton canvas has both excellent fiber strength for stretching and is also woven to rigid specifications to meet the requirements of our artists.
Stretching the Canvas:
While many wholesalers and distributors sell oil paintings that are not stretched on a wooden frame, Anko-Art has the capabilities to do their own stretching for free! Our highly trained experts use tools specific to this process that stretches the canvas across a sustainable wood frame.
